The Respiratory Therapist
Candidate Will
Provide initial and ongoing assessment to evaluate the rehabilitation potential of patients.
Identify problems and set a goal to assist patient return to mainstream activities.
Teach patients/family how to properly use respiratory equipment, supplies and exercise techniques.
Provide respiratory therapy treatment in accordance with the plan of treatment.
Teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques.
Monitor respiratory equipment for safety and appropriateness.
Maintain patient records and keep track of goals and progress.
Performs related duties as required
Qualifications
Current License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in NY State required.
One year of clinical experience a plus (new graduates are welcome to apply).
CPR certification required.
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Strong assessment and documentation skills.
Must be reliable, dependable and on time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Per Visit Pay Rate: $65/Visit
