The Speech Language Pathologist
Candidate Will

Provide initial and interim assessment to evaluate the client’s level of speech, language, hearing and swallowing function.

Identify problems and set a goal to assist patient return to mainstream activities.

Provide speech-language pathology or audiology services in accordance with the plan of treatments.

Evaluate and recommend mechanisms to enhance the client’s speech, language, hearing and swallowing ability.

Teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise.

Maintain patient records and keep track of goals and progress.

Advise the patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises.

Performs related duties as required

Qualifications

Current License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in NY State required.

One year of clinical experience a plus (new graduates are welcome to apply).

CPR certification required.

Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Strong assessment and documentation skills.

Must be reliable, dependable and on time.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Per Visit Pay Rate: $65/Visit
