Almost 40 years of experience

Hope Home Care Inc., started in 1987 and was founded by our CEO, Jean V. Alexander. Upon losing her job at a Manhattan firm over almost 40, the Trinidad native began volunteering at Bayley Seton Hospital in Clifton, Staten Island, NY. At the time, the single mother of two was eager to rise above her financial difficulties and took an entrepreneurial route by establishing a house-cleaning business. While continuing her volunteer work at the hospital, Jean met Dr. Allan Hewitt, a Staten Island physician who encouraged her to open a healthcare agency. Believing that her path was destined and inspired by God, Jean started her agency as a home-based endeavor with meager resources and little help.

Located in the heart of New York’s five boroughs (Staten Island, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan) and nearby counties, we are committed to delivering personalized short-term and long-term home health care solutions.

Hope Home Care is proud to offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients. In addition to our in-home nursing, para-professional, and therapy services, we participate actively in the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP).

Moreover, we extend our support to healthcare facilities by providing temporary staffing solutions. Whether it’s for hospice facilities, OPWDD group homes and day habs, Assisted Living Facilities, or Clinics, our staffing services ensure continuity of care and professionalism.

Our Coordinators meticulously consider various factors when matching caregivers with clients, including skill sets, personalities, and proximity to the client’s residence. We provide our caregivers with detailed travel information and alternate routes, ensuring they arrive on time and fully prepared to provide the highest quality care.
