Home health aide and personal care aide training program

For the past 17 years, Hope Home Care, Inc. has provided comprehensive training for Home Health Aides. Our state-of-the-art Training Facility, located in our Staten Island office, ensures that our classes meet the highest standards and are certified by the Department of Health. Led by HHCI’s Nurse Instructor, our classes offer hands-on learning experiences.

Become a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Hope Home Care’s FREE training program equips you with the necessary skills to enter the home healthcare field immediately upon completion. The PCA program consists of a minimum of 40 hours of training, while the HHA class requires a minimum of 75 hours. Please note that testing needed and competency evaluations are not included in these hours. Trainees must commit to at least two weeks for PCA training and three weeks for HHA training.

All supervised practical training will be conducted in a laboratory, patient’s home, or other healthcare setting, excluding nursing homes. Trainees will have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
